Assessment, guidance and counseling:

The Expert Psychologist and special educator used the different tools for assessment, then categorize the children according to their mental IQ and social maturity level in the basis of these results expert design an I.E.P (individualize Education Plan). Centre provides the facilities of guidance and counseling for parents, teachers and students about the special child's needs and problem. 

Mentally retarded children need free and open environment. It is a unique step of Markaz-e-Umeed that all learning activities are designed in the ground, where children participate in games and intellectual activities. These activities are developing a feeling of self-confidence, self worth, self independence, attention, motivation and inter-personal relationship.

Behavior Therapy:

Mentally retarded children face the problems of hyper activity, inattention, aggressiveness, distraction and lack if motivation. The out-door activities are the best solution of these problems, beside this centre provide the facilities of behavior therapy by the psychologist and special educators.
